Posted on 04:15 by Unknown
Hello friends,

The doodle to celebrate Mother's Day 2013 is thoughtful and interesting and allowing you to play and print the card.

The animated doodle lets users craft, print and share a range of attractive logos, thanks to a card-building machine.

On clicking the play button, three icons (Mother, flowers and a special gift) on the left of the doodle are displayed allowing users to choose the design of the card.

Once you click on the icon selected, Google's card-building machine initiates making of the card that goes through various phases. Each card is drawn in crayon.

Google allows users to print the artwork and present it to their mothers, if they want to.

So, go ahead and make your mother feel special with these colorful and expressive cards from Google on Mother's Day 2013.

Google Doodle marks India's first passenger train on 160th anniversary.

Posted on 22:49 by Unknown
Hello friends,
As we all know that  Google always pays tribute on the special occasions ,if you are thinking what does today's doodle is all about then have a look over here..

Today is the 160th anniversary  when India's first passenger train was launched.  Exactly 160 years ago, on April 16 1853, the first passenger train in our country left Bori Bunder station in Bombay to complete a 34km journey to Thane. Quite fittingly, the Google doodle depicts a steam locomotive lugging a passenger train on a palm-lined railway track. The 14 carriage passenger train with 400 invited guests onboard was pulled by three locomotives named Sultan, Sindh and Sahib and took 57 minutes to complete the journey.

The doodle has a train, pulled by a steam engine, chugging along over a background dotted with palm trees and astructure in the distance.

India’s railway network since then has grown by leaps and bounds and has one of the world’s largest railway networks comprising of nearly 115,000kms of tracks over a route of 65,000kms and 7,500 stations.

Google Doodles Leonhard Euler on his 306th anniversary of his birth/Leonhard Euler

Posted on 02:29 by Unknown

 Hello friends

Google pays tribute to Leonhard Euler on his 306th anniversary of his birth.

Leonhard Euler was born  in Basel, Switzerland, Euler spent most of his career in St. Petersburg and Berlin. He joined the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences in 1727.

Euler's important contributions were so numerous that terms like "Euler's formula" or "Euler's theorem" can mean many different things depending on context. Just in mechanics, one has Euler angles (to specify the orientation of a rigid body), Euler's theorem (that every rotation has an axis), Euler's equations for motion of fluids, and the Euler-Lagrange equation (that comes from calculus of variations). The "Euler's formula" with which most American calculus students are familiar defines the exponentials of imaginary numbers in terms of trigonometric functions. But there is another "Euler's formula" that (to use the modern terminology adopted long after Euler's death) gives the values of the Riemann zeta function at positive even integers in terms of Bernoulli numbers. There are both Euler numbers and Eulerian numbers, and they aren't the same thing. Euler's study of the bridges of Königsberg can be seen as the beginning of combinatorial topology.

Alan Turing's 100th birthday marked by Google doodle

Posted on 03:00 by Unknown
Google on Saturday marked the celebrations of the 100th birth anniversary of computer scientist Alan Mathison Turing with an attractive doodle. Turing, who is also known as the founder of computer science, played a significant role in breaking the wartime Enigma- enciphered messages.
